☀️“Summer Cleaning!” Maintain House/Office until your return!

The sun is shining, roads ready and the vacation continues! It’s that time of year where the kids are out, business is slow and you’re itching for a vacation get-away to wind down and come back re-energized! The only problem is “who's going to keep the house clean?” Having trash is one thing, but if the house is not cleaned before the vacation starts, the chance of germs and bacteria building up rises significantly!

Summer and the heat

Do we have to say more? When food residue is thrown out or worse dairy products and raw meat, they'll spoil at a fast rate and leave really bad odor around the house. Can you imagine if by chance the trash wasn’t thrown out before the trip and had the worst case scenario foods in it? You probably guessed it. Maggots. They will be crawling out of the trash and start worming their way out all over the place. The last thing we want is to come home to an infestation.

Stains that never go away

You ever cooked a meal and the grease or that family sauce recipe jumps out of the pan and onto the stove or counter top? Of course you have, it happens! However have you ever been so tired and drained from the day that you forget or say “I’ll clean it up later”? Again, I’m pretty sure you have, were human after all. Unfortunately for us, stains don’t care, they will try hard to stick and leave a print.

Stains that leave hard marks almost never go away without using hard chemicals which is also not good. Just as the summer heat comes, stains will rapidly stick onto the surface because for that same reason, heat. What can we do to keep those pesky stains out before the summer vacation? And that's just the kitchen, imagine other stains around the house? This also includes offices.

• When cooking, keep the area consistently clean, you'll be more willing before eating.

• Check stains around the bathroom and if you have kids, their room as well.

• For the office setting keep the employees accountable of the mess they make.

The Build-Up of Dust

I’ve talked about this on this article, so I wont go too deep. But in keep in mind that without proper venting the house can get pretty dusty. Here are a couple of things you can do to keep it clean.

• Dust off the fans.

• Wipe the surface of desks and counter tops.

•  Vacuum the carpet/floor (obviously), but make sure to get those tight space corners as well.
